After decades of penning hits for Motown legends like Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye and Chaka Khan, husband and wife singer/songwriter duo Ashford and Simpson had their greatest triumph with 1984’s classic hit “Solid (As A Rock).” How is this remotely relevant to our humble little business podcast, you may ask? Answer: because this week’s guest and the advice he gives our boys Sid and Keith (and you), is “Solid, solid as a rock/ and nothing’s changed it).
